We are Focused on You and Your Baby After Delivery

Our goal here at East Point Hospital, Bangalore, goes beyond delivery; it begins as an entirely new chapter for the mother and the baby. That is the reason we have Postnatal Care services, which encompass a mother and baby’s needs during the crucial weeks and months following delivery. During this time, also called the postpartum phase, the body goes through physical recovery and emotional shifts, and the baby starts to grow and develop a bond with the mother.

Our doctors, nurses, lactation consultants, and counsellors will work with you through the various recovery phases to ensure your newborn is given the best care possible, nurtured, and guided through the early stages of life.

For emotional well-being, we take simple screening approaches to assess postnatal depression signs and anxiety.

Breastfeeding difficulties are managed with direct support and the use of breast pumps or supplemental feeding, if appropriate. For mothers post C-section, wound care and rehabilitation therapy is incorporated into our usual care.
